There’s a great article reviewing some of the key ingredients into making a difference for retirement plan participants. It’s by the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA), that we posted on our LinkedIn page. ( We couldn’t agree more with the adage of making it simple for participants, so they will take action. Then, you can measure results.

They say one of the hardest things in life is to make the complex simple and understandable. We will be starting our 7th year in operations in January. I can say many of those years were where we acquired the knowledge with its worth in gold, as the market continued to share its feedback on what they liked and didn’t like. Moreover, we also learned about what its wish list would look like for a service to help participants.

The formula we use today continues to transform complex into simple, motivate participants to take action, document specifically how we help improve participant outcomes, and provide this documentation to Sponsors and/or advisers for their fiduciary binders to quantify how they are proactively helping participants improve their retirement outcomes.

For the advisers that don’t work with us yet, please know that our services can only enhance your existing delivery of advice and NOT compete with it. You don’t individually pull all the data points for investments, but you use Morningstar (or similar provider) to accumulate this data for you, so you can manipulate it to your own personal needs.
